Divine Spark details the neogenesis of human consciousness. Both verses follow the narrative of Adam & Eve, but with a slight twist based on The gnostic belief. The first verse is told from the serpent’s point of view, a viewpoint which is not necessary evil, but more alluring and inviting to partake in the evolution of enlightenment via the consumption of the apple of Eden, which is posited to be Amanita Muscaria. The second verse details the process and effects of becoming aware of the forbidden knowledge contained; the Promethean fire that ignited multidimensional awareness The idea is based around such texts as “The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross” by John M Allegro and “The Stoned Ape Theory” by Terrance McKenna.
lyrics
Tabinstereo:
"divine spark
space dust and god parts
on a new chart
i breathe light
and speak dark
hit the restart
breed life
& teach heart
u can be god
u can see oz
and his deep flaws
-i can hear part of u thinking
we in the garden of eden
the apple u seein
connect u
to the path and the reason
now do u follow or lead him?
its something new to believe in
or its forbidden n we leaving
huh
what kinda light
will make u stay in the dark
and never show ya how we came from the stars
dont confuse what they saying it was
now I’m just showin what your capable of
uh
what disturbs make change
rip out the spirit
the soul rearranges
u are blind to the stages
why read the book
when they lied to the pages
word to the birds & the sages
the truth gonna hurt
but knowing is contagious
u can relearn the basics
grown from the earth
been a search
for the ages
so close u could taste it
rip off the blind fold
reclaim your places
found the grace of the ancients
this is just the basement
all of this makeshift
take a bite of it
grab sight of the double sidedness
go inside of what we all trying to find in this
its a cure for the blindness
a war for the spineless
everything is timeless
or
time is just the breath of god
u can set the charge
put the feeling in your fuselage
peek into the new mirage
looking thru the fog
see the world without the camouflage
come and meet what u can’t find
you can live and die at the same time
we could be a part of the same mind
we can leave behind
the fake lines
between
you and i
and break time"
Taboo:
"return to paradise lost
travel back to that divine source
imagine that a magic life force
a parasite from the after life to snack on my corpse
That Forbidden fruit nectar
give em an inch they take a yard , but who measures.. removed the fig leaf and found their true center..
and took issue with being naked before Hugh Hefner
Gotta lose your way to you find yourself
it's worth more than diamonds, we're redefining wealth
the body is some kinda shell
go inside where the silence dwells find the science of the higher self
You'll eventually find
the transcendent divine
just extending a vine,
let it enter your mind
there suspended in time with senses deprived
you can deconstruct life's central design
existence; an infinite art and life is just a limited part... there's so much light that lives in the dark and so much earth that exists in the stars, this divinity's spark
From the micro to the macro
look me in the eyes and see a light show encapsuled take off the blind fold and see some bright glowing fractals
and realize everything inside tour divine soul is natural
perception is the uh-ponent all components of time existing in one moment
for a few hours you can come hold it
it's ego death when them flood gates bust open
But it's gone in a blur
it's only understood it cannot be observed
let ya consciousness stir and remember the god that u were"

Need to Believe motivates me so much. Ill put it on for workouts or just when I need the motivation to do things. Its a deep track and the album as a whole is just a masterpiece. davidloomis
Christ this shit is so good. can't really identify with his take on gays running the media or the Jesuit stuff, but all that is irrelevant, because he made a reference to Dune, Talking Heads, and a bunch of other cool stuff. The flow is very fluid which pairs well with the beat. compared to mainstream artists, his lyricism is especially clever. I'm going to look out for a T-shirt with the Vrilmatic album art on it because it looks fucking awesome. Worm
This album proves that you are a TOP TIER writer. Every song is so well written and speaks from your heart. It is an album i play and just read the lyrics along with it and get lost in my thoughts. Thanks for sharing such a personal album . Also I don’t know if anyone you see these messages but if there’s any shirts with this album art or any other albums i’d be interested in purchasing davidloomis
