ZoomOut pt2 highlights the necessity of self examination which is requisite for a shifting of the normally adhered to paradigm.
Tunneling like a sonic wormhole connecting parallel realities, It resounds with the reverberating echos of the previously examined precept of stepping back in order to appreciate the full vista of the grand mosaic that is our own lives.
The first verse revels in its near-sighted and narrow perspective as it quests for Dionysian styled anesthetization and bohemian carnality in order to escape the painful realization of unreached potential. The second verse, the macroscopic counterpoint, works to contrast the former by addressing the shallow ended choices in an almost chastising manner and, instead, positing he hold himself accountable to a deeper degree of severity in order to reach his true potential. Only by distancing ourself from our clamorous internal dialogue can we start to hear the answers to the age old questions.
lyrics
JadeGritty/Tabinstereo:
Whole new perspective
age old questions
all we're suggesting
step away...
Taboo:
Tryna find a way to lose myself
stop trying Im not buying that truth you sell
conflicted by different moods I felt I'm not doing well I could probably use some help and I'm sure that you can tell
I'm feeling incomplete at the minute
so I hit the streets on a mission for the piece that I'm missing
id scream for help but I don't believe the people will listen
it ain't fair when a day mare is the dream that ya living
So I'm just tryna find a girlie I like
tryna reap the harvest from the garden of earthly delights put something to burn in my pipe
it's the armor between myself and anything else that wants to hurt me tonight
Can't get me no love so send me some drugs as
I step into this grave that I so readily dug
I blaze izm til I'm heavily buzzed
escapism that Houdini would be envious of
Cause I got a sickness in my dome and I know the remedy
is putting holes in my memories and hoping they don't remember me indulging in all these golden recipes
even if it goes and leaves my soul in jeopardy
I want all the problems money can buy
famished for fallacies hungry for lies
kid Icarus even if I plummet and die
it'll be falling from the core of the sunniest sky
JadeGritty/Tabinstereo:
Zoom out, zoom out, zoom out, zoom out (2x)
Tabinstereo:
It's hard to see it when u stand in it
..Once u start than u can't finish
U Gettin far from the beginning
Don't get caught up in the living
There will always a lemon
Find the Happiness within it
The cynic is the critic
penance off centered
At Liberty with limits
When the habits reinvented
N It's casually admitted
Local casualty again n it's
Just gotta be genetic
It's the bottom feeder premise
See the big picture
Stop looking for the blemish
Quit running..find yourself and give him credit
Fall on ur face n than regret it
-Just so u can't say u never did it
And U know it's all depending
Shit-Big thing small beginning
YetNone of us are privy to the ending
It's just easier pretending
Working on it takes long
Know You feeling like your wings might've been made wrong
Stay strong
Become Icarus with shades on
-Seek and destroy
I know the chemicals deployed just to sleep in the noise
N It don't take Freud
To see ur fillin a void
In the shallow end
Start gettin deeper with choice
Speak with a voice
Of a leader..rejoice
For the ones combing your words
For a reason to join
Uh-dark thoughts
Don't even avoid
We all passin thru
Just Breathe and enjoy
JadeGritty/Tabinstereo:
Whole new perspective
age old questions
all we're suggesting
step away
its not worth your energy
I just want a better me
time is not a friend to me
give an ear to lend to me
it's not what it pretends to be

Christ this shit is so good. can't really identify with his take on gays running the media or the Jesuit stuff, but all that is irrelevant, because he made a reference to Dune, Talking Heads, and a bunch of other cool stuff. The flow is very fluid which pairs well with the beat. compared to mainstream artists, his lyricism is especially clever. I'm going to look out for a T-shirt with the Vrilmatic album art on it because it looks fucking awesome. Worm
